WinDeed Alerts allows you to activate a "watch" on a specific person.  The "watch" continually monitors key credit information by TransUnion and will provide an alert of any change by e-mail.

Credit information monitored include:

• Enquiries made against that person
  
• Judgements (i.e. added, deleted, updated, or cancelled)
  
• Defaults (i.e. added, deleted, or updated)
  
• Debt Review (i.e. application, granted, or cancelled)

Besides TransUnion information, other alerts include changes to a person's asset ownership through buying or selling of properties as well as changes to a person's director status at CIPC.

Customers who will benefit from this include forensic investigators or those having a credit agreement with a consumer to ensure that the credit agreement can be honoured.

Requesting a "watch" is simple via www.windeedsearch.co.za. Alerts can be accessed from the main menu on the website. Note that you will have to be WinCredit enabled to request a "watch" as WinDeed Alerts are subject to the NCA and require a prescribed purpose.

After initiating a "watch" on a person, an e-mail will be received whenever any of the watched status' change. Alternatively, you can you view the history of alerts received at any time by accessing an Alert Report from the website.

• Watches will be automatically continued until de-activated through WinDeed.
